One stop shop for Italian goods, meals, meats and sweets...I was very excited by all the options for prepared food in the deli case and had to prevent myself from buying a little of everything. Vast assortment of baked goods and sweets that made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Many good food finds across the dry food shelfs and a bright assortment of vegetables and fruits. Wonderful little market bakery deli!

Rude cashier and the place smelled terrible. While I was waiting in line with only four items to check out, a worker from the nearby Nailize salon came up to the register with one item and the cashier just stuck her arm out and was like, "It's fine, it's fine. You only have one thing." So even though I had already been waiting, I had to wait longer while this other person checked out, out of the blue. Ridiculously rude. Second, you get whalopped with the smell of decaying fish as soon as you walk in. Similar to Murray S.'s review, I would suggest the place get a thorough cleaning or perhaps investigate the levels at which the coolers are set. Disappointing because the place looks cute and clean from the outside. In the past, I have sang Doris's praises on Instagram but not after this most recent encounter. Each customer is worthy of his/her time.

I love this place! The best cakes and italian cookies ever!!!! Very hard to pass on. This has to be the best italian store in Boca Raton. Very original!!!

Good food and meat selection however this stores selection as well as appearance does not come close to their other stores around south Florida.

Delizioso!!!!! What a wonderful little find while waiting at the doctor's office, I decided to walk to this Italian market. This market is right off of Yamato road and lake ridge. It is not very big in size but compact with different items. I first went to quickly get tomatoes but then discovered some Italian must haves. They have so many different kinds of pasta brands and types. Their dessert pastries and cakes will make your mouth water. They have fresh flower banquets, yes, I know most grocery stores have flowers but many do not have sunflowers but Doris had them. I would have liked to see more produce variety, however, they do have a decent size selection of it. Overall, this is the perfect neighborhood Italian version of a grocery store. It left a lasting impression and I can't wait to go back to try some cakes from them. ~

This place is the worst....the seafood dept overcharge and the fish is bad. The seafood manager is rude and the store manager is worse. I will never walk in there again. All the money on expansion is a waste when your food is bad and employees rude and nasty

I have never been to Doris before. I wanted to bring a meal to my friend's house who lost her husband.Anthony couldn't have been ruder. Told me he doesn't make turkey gravy and would raise his voice ever time I asked a question. He said my order was too small and they can't do it. I called the coral springs store and they couldn't have been nicer. They told me of course they make gravy and said no order is too small. DON't go to Boca raton store. Extremely rude

Been shopping at Doris's a couple years at the Sunrise location. Would give Sunrise a 5 star BUT Boca is a different story. People rude behind meat counter. There rotating of product is fail at best meaning they have old and outdated product on their shelves. I like Doris's but not the one in Boca, go the extra mile and go to other locations.

I made a quick stop to see what this place was all about. It's a small grocery store that specializes in bakery, produce, seafood, and meats. The sounds of New Yorkers and Italians in the background was a hit. Be prepared to get your sweet on when you go to the bakery. Oh my god. I didn't see anything that I didn't want. There was a 7 chocolate layer cake that was for $11.99 a piece. Nuts. I was on my best behavior and walked out with banana nut bread, a few mini cannolis, and a couple of mini tiramisus. I wasn't too thrilled with it since it tasted kind of bland to me. Maybe the next visit will be slightly sweeter.

I love this Italian market. The bakery is awesome. They make the best cannolis you will find in Florida and their rugelach is just as good as any Jewish Bakery, if not better. My boyfriend loves their cookies which I think are very good too. The deli just can't be beat. They have assorted salads, cheeses and cold cuts. They will make any kind of sandwich or sub for you and customize it any way you like. My favorite is the chicken salad. All their salads and prepared foods are homemade using fresh quality ingredients. The sub rolls are baked fresh everyday in their bakery. They do take phone orders, so if your in a rush just call it in & it will be ready for you. My boyfriend is a fan of their potato salad & I love their colelaw. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their salads. Everything is made fresh and they are all great. They also do catering. The deli also serves prepared dishes that are made fresh throughout the day. The eggplant parmesan is to die for. In my opinion it is better than what most restaurants serve. Chicken parmesan, lasagna, broiled chicken, grilled pork chops, penne alla vodka, sausage & peppers, eggplant rolatini, meatballs & chicken meatballs are just some of the dishes they offer. All items are served by the pound. I find their prices to be extremely reasonable considering everything is homemade. Now the produce department is hit or miss. Most of the time I do really well & have left with delicious sweet berries and juicy watermelon. They also have a seafood department as well as a meat department with several butchers working the counter. An added plus is that they do have a few grocery isles to pick up random items. I am sure you would be able to find whatever you needed without having to make an extra stop at Publix. Parking is easy, the market is clean & they even sell flowers. How can you go wrong?

I don't find Doris Market as wonderful as the other reviewers. Their prepared foods are so-o-o oversalted! I've tried the rice balls, chicken Parm, and fish cakes. Not the best. Other departments are hit or miss. Zuccini on sale were as big as baseball bats, tomatoes were mealy. Fish is also iffy. They always have their sale items, which is a good thing, but the quality is often lacking.

Food is great...customer service is lousy...the people that work there seem to be absolutely miserable...I love to shop there but wish the cashiers would smile!

This is the best group of Italian Bakeries in South Florida! You cannot go wrong here. Everything is delicious and not outrageously priced. Their dessert selection is to die for and the prepared foods section has everything you can think of. Get the bruschetta is amazing!!!! Produce is cheap, fresh, and you can tell the difference in taste compared to publix.

Don't know why people are saying that the employees are unfriendly because they are always SUPER nice to me. Especially the people behind the deli counter and the bakery (I don't eat meat so have not spoke to them). I love the produce, its always cheaper than publix and really good. The Doris brand pesto is soooo delicious. I also buy a lot of doris' antipasta at the deli, soup, frozen ravioli, mini desserts, and bread.

This is the Doris that all the others should be judged by. The first thing you notice is how clean everything is. Next you notice the "niceness." The deli has everything from cold cuts to prepared foods. The bakery is top notch. I love several of the cookies and the mini dark chocolate cannolis should come with a fine. Add to that a meat market second to none and a great produce department and you have my favorite Italian Market. There are also several aisles for your grocery needs as well

My family has been going to Doris's for years because of the convenience and the great produce, however the meat and deli items are stale and gross. We recently bought meat from the deli and as soon as we took it out, we knew it wasn't good. It smelled and appeared to be old. Go here for the produce but stay away from the deli.

The fish counter did not use gloves. He told us we were going to cook the fish anyway. He was also in a rush.I reported to the manager, and he was very indifferent. The bakery is my favorite.

I love the huge selection of cakes, breads, cheeses and pastries etc (everything). Great small local fresh market that caters mostly to Italians. The whole staff is friendly and smiles except for the women at the check out. They never say hello or make eye contact even if I say hello first. I've never had a woman check me out and smile or say anything other than debit or credit which is sad because it is a nice place that is clean with fresh food and mostly helpful friendly service they really make you feel at home except when you pay lol. Love the fresh in house homemade mozzarella cheese !!

Doris' has an excellent variety of Italian foods and specialties - great meats and fish, prepared dishes, produce, imports, wines, holiday items. I've been occasionally disappointed with the bakery, having bought cakes to bring on visits and for birthdays that didn't seem fresh. But other bakery experiences have also been very good there. Love the convenience of having them nearby, and again, a great overall resource for all things Italian.

Visited today in preparation for a cookout. The meat/seafood selection was good and fresh. Prices were not inexpensive but not way over priced either. They had a few wines on special for really good prices. We grabbed a bottle for $6.99 (usually $16.99). The downside is that they do not have a variety of small snack items (no single 20oz sodas or grab size chips etc). It was pretty good. My older brother orders cheese platters and things of that nature from this market for work events. He seems to be more thrilled than I am about the whole place.

Best prices on chicken, hamburger, and sausage in town when buying 5lbs or more

I so wish there was one of these in Los Angeles. Every once in a while, I get a craving for one of there amazing meatballs or stellar knishes. I used to bring a cooler home from college with me just so I could take some of their food back to school. This place even catered my high school graduation party. Always a favorite amongst my family and friends. And a worthy diet destroyer!

I venture to Doris's when i need high quality meat and seafood. The bakery section has an excellent selection of pastries. The white chocolate cake for my sis was perfect.

Very nice Italian Market with lots of native Italians working in various capacities. The vege section is small but high quality, The meat section is fabulous. Real butchers anxious to assist you . Porkchops are out of this world. Since we cook ourselves can not comment on prepared foods. I really like this place

Waste of money! Got a total of 3 items from the store and each and everyone of them had an issue. Purchased potato salad and tuna fish was in it, black and white cookie had string in it and another bakery item was not even edible. Everything overpriced, don't waste your time and just go to another grocery store.

Great choice of fresh produce, home baked breads and desserts, and meats, deli goods. Oh, and it's less expensive than the supermarket.

Very good fresh food and produce - the produce a little too fresh - sometimes doesn't last long once I get it home. But the butchers are wonderful and the prices excellent for deli, fish and meat. Nice bakery selection.

Excellent desserts at this location. Far better than coral springs doris. I believe the lady making them is from Sicily. Seafood selection is so so. Meats and deli side are good although service is not friendly at all. Go early because it does get packed and the aisles are very small to get around
